What We Offer

Programs built around the people they serve.

Every program below is led by a credentialed art therapist and shaped by the population it serves. Choose a path that fits you, your family, your team, or your community.

How To Read This Page

Two paths through our programs.

Green Hollow Creative offers programs for individuals and families who come to us directly, and contracted programs for organizations — senior living communities, corporate wellness teams, and nonprofits. Individual programs are priced per session. Organizational programs are priced by contract and shaped around the specific population. If you're not sure which path applies, the consultation will sort it out.

Individual

Individual art therapy sessions.

One-on-one sessions held outdoors in parks and green spaces across the Kansas City metro, or inside the mobile studio when weather requires. For adults working through grief, life transitions, anxiety, burnout, or a desire for deeper self-understanding.

What to expect

  • 60-minute sessions, scheduled weekly or biweekly
  • Sessions held outdoors in a location of your choosing when weather allows
  • Mobile studio used for sessions when weather doesn't cooperate
  • All art materials provided — no experience required
  • Intake and ongoing clinical documentation, as with any therapy practice

Investment

Standard sessions are priced per session. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are reserved each quarter. Superbills are available for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Specific pricing is discussed during the free consultation.

Group

Themed group workshops.

Small groups of 4–8 participants gathered around a specific theme. Workshops run 90 minutes to two hours and take place in public green spaces around Kansas City. Each series focuses on a different area of emotional or creative work.

Working with the quieter materials of winter and the emotional weight of the season.

  • Gathered: An Introduction

    Year-round

For Families

Family sessions in the open.

Family-based art therapy sessions for parents and children, siblings, or multi-generational families working through a shared experience. Sessions are structured around what the family is navigating — a transition, a loss, a communication pattern that keeps repeating, or simply a desire to spend time together in a different kind of space.

Small family units (2–6 members)

Sessions run 75–90 minutes

Held outdoors when possible

Not a fit for families in acute crisis or requiring emergency intervention.

Organizational Programs

Contracted programs for partners who care about their people.

The programs below are designed for organizations — senior living communities, companies, and nonprofits — that want recurring, meaningful creative engagement for the people they serve. These aren't one-off events. They're ongoing partnerships.

Senior Living

Recurring programs for senior living communities.

Green Hollow partners with independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities to provide on-site art therapy programming that residents actually look forward to. Sessions are designed around the cognitive, physical, and emotional needs of the population — not a one-size-fits-all activity calendar.

What's included

  • On-site visits on a recurring monthly or biweekly schedule
  • Sessions run indoors, outdoors on the community's grounds, or at the mobile studio parked on-site
  • Programs adapted for independent living, assisted living, and memory care
  • Materials, setup, and cleanup included
  • Optional family programming for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and holidays
  • Clinical documentation available for communities that require it

Ideal for communities that…

  • Want programming that goes deeper than a craft activity
  • Serve residents who benefit from sensory, kinesthetic, and creative engagement
  • Are looking to differentiate their life enrichment programming
  • Value recurring, consistent presence over one-off events

Investment

Senior living partnerships are priced by contract, typically monthly or quarterly. Pricing is based on the number of sessions per month, the population served, and travel distance.

Corporate

Corporate wellness and team retreats.

Half-day and full-day experiences for companies and teams that want something more substantive than a paint-and-sip or a trust fall exercise. Programs blend nature-based art therapy methods with thoughtfully structured group work — built to actually do something, not just fill a calendar block.

Formats we offer

  • Half-day retreats (3 hours) — focused theme, facilitated experience, light reflection
  • Full-day retreats (6 hours) — deeper arc, includes lunch, space for individual and group work
  • Recurring wellness programming — monthly or quarterly sessions at your office or off-site
  • Leadership team offsites — focused specifically on small leadership groups

Who this is for

  • HR and People teams looking for meaningful wellness offerings
  • Leadership teams navigating change, burnout, or conflict
  • Nonprofits investing in staff care
  • Companies with values that go beyond ping-pong tables

Investment

Corporate programs are priced by format and group size. Minimum group size is 6. Maximum is 20 for a single facilitator.

Custom & Community

Something outside these categories?

Green Hollow also takes on custom work. University counseling partnerships, church grief groups, therapist peer groups, memorials, school programs, and other community-based engagements that don't fit a standard format. If you've got a group and a reason to gather them, we can talk about whether this fits.

  • University counseling collaborations
  • Church and faith community grief groups
  • Therapist and clinician peer groups
  • Memorial and remembrance gatherings
  • School and youth programs
  • Nonprofit staff care
  • Creative residencies and artist retreats
  • Public green space programming
